do I get the digital files?

This is a popular question!  I do supply the digital images, which can be purchased and downloaded following the shoot through an online gallery.  Some packages will include images with the inital cost.  Please see the relevant page for more details and do get in touch if you have any questions.

can you provide raw files?

​

I'm afraid not!  Half of the fun (and the work) for a photographer is in the processing.   I will provide a carefully edited selection of images which will be retouched and are ready to share and print.

are you insured?

​

I have Public Liability Insurance up to £1,000,000.  Please get in touch if you need to see a copy.

what gear do you use?

​

My current equipment is 2 x Canon 5d mark iii's with a variety of prime and EF lenses, but my wishlist never ends!  I use canon speedlight flashes on location and I use studio lighting when required.

do you have a studio?

​

I prefer to shoot on location, but I can set up a studio area in my home in Bourne End.

​

are you qualified?

​

I began studying photography in a black and white darkroom at school during my A-levels.  I went on to earn a distinction in a National Diploma in Photography at Amersham & Wycombe College.  I learned studio lighting and various retouching techniques working at Venture Studios in Marlow.  I have been fortunate enough to take my work with me around the world, and have lived in Bangkok, Dubai and LA.  This is where I grew the most as I was always on the move exploring new places to document with my camera!  I continue to grow and learn by taking short courses through the BPS and various others.  Also through sharing and talking all things photography with other talented photographers.

WEDDING FAQ's....

can we meet you before the big day?

​

That would be lovely!  Ideally I prefer to sit down for a coffee with the happy couple prior to booking anything to give us a chance to get to know each other.  I will be with you for most of your day so we need to be sure you to feel comfortable with me and are happy for me to join in the celebrations!  I also include a pre-wedding meeting closer to the big day, ideally at the venue if it's one I havent been to, so we can finalise any details and explore the grounds for photo opportunities.

do you offer shorter wedding packages?

​

Being a recent bride myself I can empathise on the magnitude of planning and budgeting for a wedding!  I am aware that there are all types of wedding celebrations that do not always fit the traditional mould.  So I like to offer flexi packages, where I can be there for as little or as long as you want me.  From shooting all elements of your day from the bride getting ready up until the first dance, or just the ceremony and group shots.  I'm happy to discuss the options with each couple to make sure we find a package that suits your needs (and budget!) Don't be shy to get in touch and I'll be happy to help where I can.

when will I receive the images?

​

I will edit and retouch the best photos from your day which will be uploaded to an online gallery within 4 weeks of the wedding.  Please allow extra time during the peak summer months!  Don't worry, I always send a few sneak peaks before then.

A USB can also be delivered to you if needed.

do you shoot abroad?

​

I LOVE to travel and would welcome opportunities to shoot wherever it may be.  Please get in touch and I can get a cost together for you.

do you have an assistant?

​

I mostly shoot alone and feel confident I can capture the memories of your day by myself.  I can source a second shooter at a cost though if it's your preference or you have a particularly large wedding.

do you offer prints & albums?

​

Yes.  Following your shoot your photos will be viewable on an online gallery with the option to download or order prints.  If you would like an album, please get in touch and I can put a cost together for you.
