Spring has sprung!  My most favourite time of year and when I shoot my Bluebell Mini Sessions in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside.

A Bluebell Mini Session is a fantastic way to get a collection of gorgeous outdoor portraits of your little ones.  Perfect for capturing family memories with children of all ages. These are mainly focused on capturing photos of the little ones, but I do allow time for some with the whole family.   I shoot many familllies annually, which is such a great way to capture the stages of your little ones growing up and any new additions.

These mini sessions are for immediate family groups only.  If you would like more time for a full family or extended family session, then please see the  'Newborn and Family' page for more details.

Limited Spaces

Our mini-sessions are short and very sweet, so you don't have to worry about little ones getting bored.  We'll work fast to ensure we get a fantastic set of natural, informal portraits for you during your 20-minute session.

All mini session places are offered on a first come first served basis so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment as there is a limited number of sessions each year.

FAQ

What to wear...

Dress according to the weather as it's very unpredictable in April!  Layers are your friend.

Neutral or pastel colours look great such as cream, grey, light pink, light yellow, light blue.  Teamed with navy blue.

Stick with classic styles that won't outdate and choose something flattering and timeless that will make you want to keep that family portrait up for years to come.

Coordinate rather than match.

Avoid wearing large logos, motifs, characters, graphics or clashing patterns, which will date your photos.

What to bring...

Clean snacks please! No messy food that will stain clothing (save chocs till the very end!)

Water or other drinks that don’t stain

Treats to bribe children

Any toys/bubbles/props that you feel are appropriate

Warm waterproof clothing – just in case of a sudden April shower

**Please note that there is no cafe or toilets.**

Preparing for the shoot...

It's a good idea to get kids excited about the shoot in advance, so that they can look forward to it.  You could make a day of it and head to odds farm/wooburn park afterwards.  There's a lovely little picnic spot near the entrance if you fancied staying for a walk around the woods and some lunch.

Please don’t show up to the shoot on an empty stomach. If it's your plan to come to your photo session with lunch or dinner scheduled at the end, please be sure to give everyone a snack before the photo shoot.  No one wants hangry children!
